Article 27 (general functions) is amended as follows.

In paragraph (3B)—
a
in sub-paragraph (b), for “and (r) to” substitute “, (r) and”;
b
omit sub-paragraph (d).

After paragraph (3B) add—
3C
For the purposes of paragraph (3B)(c), the reference to Article 41(3)(a) is to be read as if the reference in that provision to Article 41 were a reference to Article 41 as implemented in Northern Ireland immediately before exit day.
