Amendment of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 20072

The Statistics and Registration Service Act 20072 is amended as follows.

In section 29(5) for “EU obligation” substitute “retained EU obligation”.

In section 39(4)(b) for “an EU obligation” substitute “a retained EU obligation”.

In section 45A(12)(c)3—
a
for “directly applicable EU legislation” substitute “retained direct EU legislation”; and
b
for “any enactment to the extent that it implements EU legislation” substitute “anything that is EU-derived domestic legislation by virtue of section 2(2)(a) or (b) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018”.

In section 45B(3)(c)4—
a
for “directly applicable EU legislation” substitute “retained direct EU legislation”; and
