69.—(1) In the Defamation Act 2013 M1, section 9 (action against a person not domiciled in the UK or a Member State etc) is amended as follows.
(2) In the heading, omit “or a Member State etc”.
(3) In subsection (1)—
(a)omit paragraph (b);
(b)omit paragraph (c) and the “or” preceding it.
(4) For subsection (4) substitute—
“(4) Sections 41 and 42 of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982 apply for the purpose of determining whether an individual, corporation or association is regarded as “domiciled in the United Kingdom” for the purposes of this section.”.
(5) Omit subsection (5).
