SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Amendments of the Data Protection Act 2018

20.—(1) Section 16 is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (1)—

(a) in the opening words, for “GDPR” substitute “ UK GDPR ”;

(b) in paragraph (a)—

(i) omit “for Member State law”;

(ii) for “GDPR” substitute “ UK GDPR ”;

(c) in paragraph (b), for “a legislative measure” substitute “ provision ”;

(d) in paragraph (c), for “GDPR” substitute “ UK GDPR ”.

(3) In subsection (2)—

(a) omit “and” at the end of paragraph (a)(ii);

(b) after paragraph (b) insert—

“, and

(c) consequentially amend the UK GDPR by adding, varying or omitting a reference to section 15, Schedule 2, 3 or 4, this section or regulations under this section.”.
