This Order gives effect to recommendations made by Vale of White Horse District Council to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England for related alterations of district ward and county electoral division boundaries.
These alterations are a consequence of changes to certain parish boundaries introduced by the Vale of White Horse District Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2015 (accessible at http://www.whitehorsedc.gov.uk/services-and-advice/local-democracy/town-and-parish-councils/local-government-and-public-involveme-1) and the Vale of White Horse District Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2018 (accessible at http://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/lgbce/Reviews/South%20East/Oxfordshire/Vale%20of%20White%20Horse/CGR/The%20Vale%20of%20White%20Horse%20DC%20(ROCG)%20Order%202018.pdf). Each Order was made under section 86 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007. Printed copies of each Order together with accompanying maps are available for inspection at the offices of the Vale of White Horse District Council, 135 Eastern Avenue, Milton Park, Milton, OX14 4SB.
The changes to district ward boundaries under article 3 apply in respect of elections to be held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2019.
The changes to county electoral division boundaries under article 4 apply in respect of elections to be held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in England in 2021.
