159.—(1) Regulation 2 of the Regulation and Improvement Authority (Registration) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005(1) (interpretation) is amended as follows.

(2) In paragraph (1), in the definition of “relative”—

(a) in paragraph (a), after “spouse” insert “or civil partner”;

(b) in paragraph (b), for “his or his spouse” substitute “the person or the person’s spouse or civil partner”;
