In the Discretionary Support Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016182, in regulation 3(1), in the definition of “couple”—
a
in paragraph (a), for “a man and a woman who are married to” substitute “, two people who are married to, or civil partners of,”,
b
for paragraph (b) substitute—
b
two people who are not married to, or civil partners of, each other but are living together as if spouses of each other;
c
omit paragraphs (c) and (d), but not the “or” at the end, and
d
omit the words after paragraph (e).
