Amendment to the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (England) Order 2006 E+W

18.—(1) The Foot-and-Mouth Disease (England) Order 2006 M1 is amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 2(1)—

(a) in the definition of “health marked”, for the words “required by” to the end, substitute “ as defined in Article 3(51) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council on official controls and other official activities performed to ensure the application of food and feed law, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products ”;

(b) in the definition of “slaughterhouse”, in paragraph (a), for the words “under” to “rules” substitute “ in accordance with Regulation EU 2017/625 of the European Parliament and of the Council on official controls and other official activities performed to ensure the application of food and feed law, rules on animal health and welfare, plant health and plant protection products M2 ”.
