The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 51(1), 52(1), 56(1) and (4) of, and paragraphs 10(1) and 21(1) and (6) of Schedule 4 to, and paragraphs 8(1) and 21(1) and (6) of Schedule 5 to, the Taxation (Cross-border Trade) Act 2018(1).

2018 c.22. Sections 51(4) and 56(5) respectively provide that the Secretary of State is “the appropriate Minister” for the purposes of exercising the powers in section 51(1) and 56(1) and (4) of the Act.
