Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(1) to (3) and 7(9) of, and paragraphs 1 to 9, 10 to 19 and 20(1) of Schedule 1 to, the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999(1), having consulted the persons required to be consulted by section 2(4) of that Act.
In accordance with section 2(8) and (9)(d) of that Act, a draft of the instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1999 c.24. Directive 2015/2193/EU and Directive 2010/75/EU have been designated as relevant directives for the purposes of paragraph 20(1)(b) by S.I. 2018/487 and S.I. 2013/669.
