16.  In Sections 27(2) (meaning of mother) and 28(5)(c) (meaning of father) of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990(1) any reference to adoption is to be read as including a reference to the effect of a parental order under section 54 or section 54A of the 2008 Act.
