Regulations 14, 15 and 16 (right of appeal and compensation, arbitration and compensation for unjustified detention) of the Merchant Shipping (Port State Control) Regulations 2011 M1 apply to a detention notice served under these Regulations as they apply to a detention order under those Regulations.
