The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(1) and (2) of the Petroleum Act 19981 and sections 7(1) and 104(2) of the Energy Act 20082, having consulted the Oil and Gas Authority in accordance with section 7(4) of the Energy Act 20083:
