Any question arising under the AVC scheme is to be determined by the scheme manager.

The scheme manager must, in consultation with the Judicial Pension Board, establish a procedure for the determination of disputes relating to AVC members or other persons with an interest in the AVC scheme.

A procedure established under paragraph (2) must meet the requirements of section 50 (requirement for dispute resolution arrangements) of the Pensions Act 199513.
