The Social Security (General Benefit) Regulations 198228 are amended as follows.

In regulation 1(2) (interpretation)29, omit the definition of “bereavement benefit”.

In regulation 2(2) (exceptions from disqualification for imprisonment etc.)30, for “bereavement benefit” substitute “widowed parent’s allowance”.
