2.—(1) The area that ceases to be part of the parish of Bodicote and becomes part of the parish of Banbury in consequence of the Cherwell District Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2013(1) ceases to be part of the district ward of Adderbury, Bloxham & Bodicote and becomes part of the district ward of Banbury Calthorpe & Easington.
(2) In this article—
“district ward” means a district ward as named in the Schedule to the Cherwell (Electoral Changes) Order 2015(2).
The Cherwell District Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2013 was made by Cherwell District Council under section 86 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 (c. 28). Orders of this kind are not required to be made by statutory instrument.
