23.—(1) The Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “statutory undertaker”, for the words from “a telecommunications code system” to “1984” substitute “an electronic communications code network within the meaning given in paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 17 to the Communications Act 2003”.
(3) In regulation 117 (parking in darkness), in subsection (2)(b)(v), for the words from “telecommunication apparatus” to “1984” substitute “electronic communications apparatus as defined in paragraph 5 of the electronic communications code set out in Schedule 3A to the Communications Act 2003”.
