<Text>Under section 92(2) of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007<FootnoteRef Ref="f00001"/> Rutland District Council made recommendations to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England<FootnoteRef Ref="f00002"/> for the related alteration of the boundaries of wards within that Council’s area.</Text></P>

<Text>The Local Government Boundary Commission for England has decided to give effect to the recommendations and, in exercise of the power conferred by section 92(3) of the Act, makes the following Order:</Text></Para>

<Title>Interpretation</Title>

<Text>In this Order—</Text>

<Para><Text>“the <Abbreviation Expansion="Rutland County Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2014">2014 Order</Abbreviation>” means the Rutland County Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2014<FootnoteRef Ref="f00004"/>;</Text>
</Para>

<Para><Text>“district ward” means a district ward established by article 3 of the Rutland (Electoral Changes) Order 2003<FootnoteRef Ref="f00005"/>.</Text>

<Title>Related alterations of district ward boundaries</Title>

<Text>Each area that ceases to be part of the parish of Cottesmore and becomes part of the parish of Greetham in consequence of the 2014 Order ceases to be part of Cottesmore district ward and becomes part of Greetham district ward.</Text>

<P><Text>This Order gives effect to recommendations made by Rutland Council to the Local Government Boundary Commission for England for related alterations of ward boundaries. These alterations are related to parish boundary changes made by the Rutland County Council (Reorganisation of Community Governance) Order 2014.</Text></P>
<P><Text>The new ward boundaries apply in respect of elections to be held on and after the ordinary day of election of councillors in 2019.</Text></P>
<P><Text>Article 3 alters the wards of (i) Cottesmore and (ii) Greetham.</Text></P>
<P><Text>An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.</Text></P>
