ENERGY CONSERVATION

These Regulations amend the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010 (S.I. 2010/2617) (“the 2010 Regulations”) and the Energy Information Regulations 2011 (S.I. 2011/1524) (“the 2011 Regulations”) and partially implement Commission Regulations (EU) Nos 2015/1095 and 2015/1188, and Commission Delegated Regulations (EU) Nos 2015/1094, 2015/1187 and 2015/1186 as follows—regulation 2 adds two new entries to the table in paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 (declaration of conformity) to the 2010 Regulations—from 1st September 2016, for professional refrigerated storage cabinets, blast cabinets, condensing units and process chillers;from 1st January 2018, for local space heaters; andregulation 3 adds three new entries to the table in Schedule 1 (EU measures) to the 2011 Regulations to apply from the dates referred to in regulation 3 for—professional refrigerated storage cabinets;solid fuel boilers and packages of a solid fuel boiler, supplementary heaters, temperature controls and solar devices;local space heaters.
