The amendment made by Article 2(2) extends to the Isle of Man amendments made to the Reserve Forces Act 1980 by section 44 of the Defence Reform Act 2014 (“the 2014 Act”). The amendment made by Article 3(2) extends to the Isle of Man amendments made to the Reserve Forces Act 1996 (“the 1996 Act”) by sections 44 to 47 of, and Schedules 6 and 7 to, the 2014 Act. The amendment made by Article 3(3)(a) is consequential on the repeal, by section 45(4) of the 2014 Act, of section 56(1)(a) of the 1996 Act.
