These Regulations may be cited as the Infrastructure Act 2015 (Commencement No. 5) Regulations 2016.
Provisions coming into force on 6th April 20162.
Section 50 (onshore hydraulic fracturing: safeguards) of the Infrastructure Act 2015 comes into force on 6th April 2016, so far as it is not already in force.
These Regulations bring into force section 50 (onshore hydraulic fracturing: safeguards) of the Infrastructure Act 2015 so far as it is not already in force.
An impact assessment of the effect that section 50 of the Act will have on the costs of business and the voluntary sector has been produced and a copy is published alongside the Onshore Hydraulic Fracturing (Protected Areas) Regulations 2016 on www.legislation.gov.uk. No separate impact assessment has been produced for this instrument.
The following provisions of the Infrastructure Act 2015 have been brought into force by commencement regulations made before the date of these Regulations:
