Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 176(1) and 272(7) and (8) of the National Health Service Act 20061.
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2016.

These Regulations come into force on 1st April 2016.

In these Regulations, “the Dental Charges Regulations” means the National Health Service (Dental Charges) Regulations 20052.
Amendment of regulation 4 of the Dental Charges Regulations2
In regulation 4 of the Dental Charges Regulations3 (calculation of charges)—
a
in paragraph (1), for “£18.80” substitute “£19.70”;
b
in paragraph (2), for “£51.30” substitute “£53.90”;
c
in paragraph (3), for “£222.50” substitute “£233.70”;

Amendment of regulation 12A of the Dental Charges Regulations3
In regulation 12A of the Dental Charges Regulations4 (charges in respect of primary dental services provided under a prototype agreement or under a Capitation and Quality Scheme 2 Agreement)—

in the heading, omit “or under a Capitation and Quality Scheme 2 Agreement”;

in paragraph (1), omit “or under a Capitation and Quality Scheme 2 Agreement”; and
c
in paragraph (2), for “£18.80” substitute “£19.70”.
Amendment of regulation 12B of the Dental Charges Regulations4
In regulation 12B of the Dental Charges Regulations5 (transitional provision relating to interim care provided under a Capitation and Quality Scheme 2 Agreement)—
