Section 9 of the Public Health Acts Amendment Act 1907 (byelaws)7 is amended as follows.

The existing provision becomes subsection (1).

After that provision insert—

Subsection (1) does not apply to byelaws of a class prescribed by regulations under section 236A(1) of the Local Government Act 1972.
