Coming into force
The Secretary of State has been designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19721 in relation to measures for safety and consumer protection as respects, among other products, detergents; provisions concerning the composition, labelling, marketing, classification or description of, among other products, detergents2; measures relating to consumer protection3; and measures relating to the environment4.
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section of that Act.
