Notice of intent

(1)
If a relevant enforcing authority proposes to impose a civil penalty on a person under this Schedule, the relevant enforcing authority must serve on that person a notice of what is proposed (“a notice of intent”).
(2)
The notice of intent must include—
(a)
the grounds for the proposed penalty,
(b)
the maximum amount of the penalty, and
(c)
information as to the right to make written representations and objections within 28 days beginning with the day on which the notice of intent was received.
