Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 19(1) of the Education Act 20051 is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Education (Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales) Order 2015 and comes into force on 12th February 2015.

Appointment of Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales or Prif Arolygydd Ei Mawrhydi dros Addysg a Hyfforddiant yng Nghymru2.

Meilyr Rowlands is appointed as Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales or Prif Arolygydd Ei Mawrhydi dros Addysg a Hyfforddiant yng Nghymru for a period of 5 years commencing on 1st June 2015.

Revocation3.

The Education (Chief Inspector of Education and Training in Wales) (No. 2) Order 2010 is revoked2.
