2.—(1) This article designates for the purposes of section 75(1) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (appropriate officers) a local authority for each police area in England listed in the table in Schedule 1 and a local authority for each police area in Wales listed in the table in Schedule 2.
(2) In respect of a police area in England listed in the left-hand column of the table in Schedule 1, the designated local authority is the corresponding local authority listed in the right-hand column.
(3) In respect of a police area in Wales listed in the left-hand column of the table in Schedule 2, the designated local authority is the corresponding local authority listed in the right-hand column.
