The Social Security (Contributions) Regulations 200173 are amended as follows.

In regulation 48(1) (Class 3 contributions) in the words in parentheses omit “contribution”.

In regulation 49(3) (precluded Class 3 contributions)74 after “retirement pension,” insert “a state pension under section 2 or 4 of the Pensions Act 2014”.
