Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 99(1) and (2) and 104(2) of the Childcare Act 20061.
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Childcare (Provision of Information About Young Children) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 1st January 2016.
Amendments to the Childcare (Provision of Information About Young Children) (England) Regulations 2009

The Childcare (Provision of Information About Young Children) (England) Regulations 20092 are amended in accordance with regulations 3 and 4.

In regulation 2 (Interpretation)—
a
after the definition of “the Act” insert—
“the 2014 Regulations” means the School and Early Years Finance (England) Regulations 20143.
b
after the definition of “early years childminder agency” insert—
“early years pupil premium” has the meaning given in regulation 1 of the School and Early Years Finance (England) Regulations 2014

In the Schedule, after paragraph 13 insert—

Whether the provider is in receipt of the early years pupil premium in relation to the child.

If the provider is in receipt of the early years pupil premium in relation to the child, whether, if it is known, this eligibility derives from sub-paragraph (11)(c)(i) or (ii) of regulation 16 of the 2014 Regulations.

Whether the child is a looked after child aged three or four years old pursuant to sub-paragraph (14) of regulation 16 of the 2014 Regulations, if known.
