This instrument confirms a scheme to construct over the navigable waters of the River Calder the Bridge as part of the highway which they are proposing to construct between the A638 Doncaster Road to the south and the A642 Aberford Road to the north as part of the Wakefield Eastern Relief Road scheme, in the Metropolitan District of Wakefield.
The Secretary of State has modified this scheme as follows:
(1) In the first line of the opening paragraph ‘make this Order’ has been amended to ‘make this Scheme’.
(2) In the first paragraph of the SCHEDULE TO THE SCHEME ‘1058431-SPEC-STR-001-A’ has been amended to ‘1058431-SPEC-STR-001-B’.
(3) In the paragraph titled OVERALL DIMENSIONS ‘A 2 metre footway will be provided to the eastern side. On the western side there will be a 3 metre wide shared cycle way/footway’ has been amended to ‘A 2 metre footway will be provided to the western side. On the eastern side there will be a 3 metre wide shared cycle way/footway’.
(4) In the Schedule to the Scheme the last sentence ‘Details can be seen on Drg No1058431-SPEC-STR-001-A; 1058431/RCB/STR/100 and 1058431/RCB/STR/101’ has been amended to ‘Details can be seen on Scheme Drawing No 1058431-SPEC-STR-001-B and related Drawings; 1058431/RCB/STR/100 and 1058431/RCB/STR/101.
(5) The title of the Plan ‘THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAKEFIELD (WAKEFIELD EASTERN RELIEF ROAD) SCHEME 2015’ has been amended to ‘THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WAKEFIELD (WAKEFIELD EASTERN RELIEF ROAD) BRIDGE SCHEME 2015’.
