Implementation and maintenance of landscaping8

All landscaping works must be carried out in their entirety, maintained and managed in accordance with the detailed written landscaping scheme approved under Requirement 7 and to the specified standard.

Any tree or shrub planted as part of the approved detailed landscaping scheme that is removed, dies or becomes, in the opinion of the relevant planning authority, seriously damaged or diseased, must be replaced in accordance with the specified standard of maintenance and management in the first available planting season with a specimen of the same species and size as that originally planted, unless otherwise approved by the relevant planning authority.

If any boundary shrub or vegetation is the subject of localised clearance for the purpose of construction of the authorised development, replacement planting must be undertaken to replace the extent of vegetation lost using locally occurring species to retain the existing vegetation pattern, unless otherwise approved by the relevant planning authority.

Within 2 years from the commencement of operation of the authorised development a long term management plan for the period of operation of the development for the area of the authorised development within the jurisdiction of the City and County of Swansea Council prepared in accordance with the principles set out in the landscaping scheme shall be submitted for the approval of that Council, and all planting and landscaping must then be managed in accordance with the approved plan.

Within 2 years from the commencement of operation of the authorised development a long term management plan for the period of operation of the development for the area of the authorised development within the jurisdiction of the Neath Port Talbot Borough Council prepared in accordance with the principles set out in the landscaping scheme shall be submitted for the approval of that Council, and all planting and landscaping must then be managed in accordance with the approved plan.
