2.—(1) The 2004 Regulations are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2(1), and paragraph 2 of Schedule 2—
(a)in the definition of “mayoral election” for “the Local Authorities (Mayoral Elections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2002” substitute “the Local Authorities (Mayoral Elections) (England and Wales) Regulations 2007”(1); and
(b)in the definition of “referendum” for “the Local Authorities (Conduct of Referendums) (England) Regulations 2001” substitute “the Local Authorities (Conduct of Referendums) (England) Regulations 2012”(2).
(3) In regulation 2(2), and paragraph 3(a) of Schedule 2, for “the Local Authorities (Conduct of Referendums) (England) Regulations 2001” substitute “the Local Authorities (Conduct of Referendums) (England) Regulations 2012”.
(4) In regulation 4(10), in the definition of “the listed provisions” in sub-paragraph (b) for “, 44 and 105 or 45 and 105” substitute “or 44 and 105”.
(5) In regulation 5—
