The Road Safety (Financial Penalty Deposit) (Appropriate Amount) (Amendment) Order 2014
The Secretary of State has consulted such representative organisations as appear appropriate in accordance with section 90E(2) of that Act.
A draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament in accordance with section 90E(4) of that Act.
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Road Safety (Financial Penalty Deposit) (Appropriate Amount) (Amendment) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st April 2014.

This Order amends the Road Safety (Financial Penalty Deposit) (Appropriate Amount) Order 2009 by adding to the Schedule showing the monetary amount of a financial penalty deposit that a constable or vehicle examiner may require from the person in charge of a heavy goods vehicle suspected of committing an offence under section 11 of the HGV Road User Levy Act 2013.
