The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 200841 are amended as follows.

In regulation 2 (interpretation), in paragraph (1)—

a

in the definition of “enforcement authority”, for “OFT” substitute “CMA”,

b

omit the definition of “OFT”, and

c

at the appropriate place, insert—

  • “CMA” means the Competition and Markets Authority;

In regulation 19, in paragraph (1A), for “OFT” substitute “CMA”.
