42.—(1) Section 42 (supplemental instruments)(1) is amended as follows.
(2) In subsection (1), after “12(2)” insert “, 12ZA(3)”.
(3) In subsection (4), for “8A” substitute “8ZA”.
(4) In subsection (6), after “12(2)” insert “, 12ZA(3)”.
Section 42 was amended by paragraph 21 of Schedule 17 to the Financial Services Act 2012 (c.21), paragraph 5 of the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013 (c.33).
