Meetings and reports

19.  Rule 2.49 (venue and conduct of company meeting) has effect as if—

(a) paragraphs (1) to (4) and (7) were omitted; and

(b) in paragraph (5A) for sub-paragraph (a) there were substituted—

“(a) in the case of a relevant society (within the meaning given in section 74(1) of the Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1965(1)), in accordance with the law of England and Wales;”.
