Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 217(2), 272(7) and (8) of, and paragraph 10(3) of Schedule 4 to, the National Health Service Act 20061.
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the St George’s Healthcare National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 2014 and comes into force on 3rd March 2014.

In this Order—
“the new trustee” means the trustee for St George’s Healthcare National Health Service Trust, namely the St George’s Healthcare National Health Service Trust Charity2;
“the old trustee” means the St George’s Healthcare National Health Service Trust3; and
“the trust property” means the property specified in the schedule of trust property prepared by, and signed on behalf of, the old trustee, and the new trustee, on 15th January 2014.
Transfer of trust property2

The trust property, and any rights and liabilities arising from that property, are transferred from the old trustee to the new trustee.

In any instrument relating to the trust property, any reference to the trustees of the trust property will be construed as a reference to the new trustee and any reference to the old trustee as the trustee for the trust property will be construed as a reference to the new trustee.
