The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 139(6) and (7) of the Children and Families Act 2014(1):

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Children and Families Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) (Amendment) Order 2014.

Amendment of the Children and Families Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014

2.—(1) The Children and Families Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014(2) is amended as follows.

(2) After article 4 insert —

Provision coming into force on 1^st May 2014

4A. Section 78 comes into force on 1^st May 2014”.

(3) In article 5, omit paragraph (c).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Children and Families Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014 to change the date of coming into force of section 78 of that Act from 13th May 2014 to 1st May 2014.
