Introductory
Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation1.
(1)
This Order may be cited as the Anonymous Registration (Northern Ireland) Order 2014 and comes into force on 15th September 2014.
(2)
This Order is made only for purposes corresponding, or similar, to those of section 10 of the Electoral Administration Act 20065.
(3)
An amendment made by this Order has the same extent as the enactment (or part of an enactment) amended.
(4)
In this Order—
“the 1983 Act” means the Representation of the People Act 19836; and
“the 1985 Act” means the Representation of the People Act 19857.
