Rates of transitional invalidity allowance
14.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2), in regulation 18(2) of the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) (Transitional) Regulations 1995(1) (rate of long-term incapacity benefit in transitional cases)—
(a)in sub-paragraph (a) for “£20.25” substitute “£20.70”;
(b)in sub-paragraph (b) for “£13.00” substitute “£13.30”; and
(c)in sub-paragraph (c) for “£6.50” substitute “£6.65”.
(2) In the case of a claimant entitled to long-term incapacity benefit—
(a)the sum specified in regulation 18(2)(a)(2) shall be reduced to “£10.70”; and
(b)the sums specified in regulation 18(2)(b) and (c) shall be increased to “£6.00”.
