Rates of transitional invalidity allowance14

Subject to paragraph (2), in regulation 18(2) of the Social Security (Incapacity Benefit) (Transitional) Regulations 199545 (rate of long-term incapacity benefit in transitional cases)—
a
in sub-paragraph (a) for “£20.25” substitute “£20.70”;
b
in sub-paragraph (b) for “£13.00” substitute “£13.30”; and
c
in sub-paragraph (c) for “£6.50” substitute “£6.65”.

In the case of a claimant entitled to long-term incapacity benefit—
a
the sum specified in regulation 18(2)(a)46 shall be reduced to “£10.70”; and
b
the sums specified in regulation 18(2)(b) and (c) shall be increased to “£6.00”.
