(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (Designated Sites under Section 128) Order 2007 (“the 2007 Order”). Article 3 substitutes the existing description of St James’s Palace in article 2(1)(e) in the 2007 Order with a map. The map sets out the part of the St James’s Palace site that is to be designated for the purposes of section 128 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005. Article 4 further designates a new site, Anmer Hall, which is added to the list of existing sites designated in the 2007 Order. If a person enters on the designated site as a trespasser, that person will commit an offence under section 128(1) of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005.
2005 c.15. Section 128 has been amended by section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2006 (c.11).
