Landlord and Tenant Act 1985

52.  In section 20C(1) (limitation of service charges: costs of proceedings)—

(a) in subsection (1), after “leasehold valuation tribunal” insert “or the First-tier Tribunal”;

(b) in subsection (2), after paragraph (b) insert—

“(ba) in the case of proceedings before the First-tier Tribunal, to the tribunal;”.

Section 20C was inserted by the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987(c. 31). Subsections (1) and (2) were amended by paragraph 32 of Schedule 15 to the Housing Act 2004 (c. 57) and by the Transfer of Tribunal Functions (Lands Tribunal and Miscellaneous Amendments) Order 2009 (S.I. 2009/1307).
