<Text>The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(1) of the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1926<FootnoteRef Ref="f00001"/> and now vested in him.</Text></P>

<Text>A draft of these Regulations has been laid before Parliament for a period of forty days pursuant to section 6 of the Statutory Instruments Act 1946, and that period has expired without either House resolving that the Regulations not be made.</Text></Para>

<P><Text>These Regulations also remove Abingdon Street Garden, which is not under the control of the Secretary of State, from Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations.</Text></P>
