In accordance with section 1(3) of the European Communities Act 19721 a draft of this Order was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
Accordingly, Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(3) of the European Communities Act 1972, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

This Order may be cited as the European Union (Definition of Treaties) (Second Agreement amending the Cotonou Agreement) Order 2011.

This Order shall come into force on the date upon which the treaty specified in the Schedule enters into force for the United Kingdom2.
I33
The treaty specified in the Schedule is to be regarded as an EU Treaty as defined in section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 19723.
I4SCHEDULE
Agreement amending for the second time the 2000 Partnership Agreement between the Members of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States, of the one part, and the European Community and its Member States, of the other part, signed in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso on 22 June 20104.
