CHAPTER 2 Transfer of the Secretary of State’s functions under the 2006 Act

48.  In the following provisions of the 2006 Act for “the Secretary of State” and “The Secretary of State”, in each place where it occurs, substitute “DBS”—

(a) section 30A(1), (6) and (7)(1);

(b) section 30B(1), (2), (5), (9) and (10)(2);

(c) section 33(3), (3A), (3D), (4) and (5)(3);

(d) section 43(1), (2), (5A), (5B), (5C), and (5F)(4);

(e) section 47(7);

(f) section 48(1), (2), (2A), (3), (4), (5) and (8)(5);

(g) section 49(1), (2), (2A), (3), (4), (5) and (8)(6);

(h) section 50(5)(7);

(i) paragraphs 19(7) and 22 of Schedule 3.

Section 30A was prospectively inserted by section 72(1) of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.
