Amendment of the Wine Regulations 2011 U.K.

46.  In the Wine Regulations 2011 M1 —

(a) in regulation 3 (official functions and enforcement), after paragraph (8) insert—

“(8A) The Secretary of State may delegate to the Director of Public Prosecutions functions in relation to the prosecution of an offence under these Regulations.”; and

(b) in regulation 9 (warrant), in paragraph (1), for “the authorised officer” substitute “ an authorised officer ”.
