In the Animal By-Products (Enforcement) (England) Regulations 2011 M1, in regulation 21 (enforcement authority), after paragraph (2) insert—

“(2A)

For the purposes of paragraph (1)(c) or where the Secretary of State makes a direction under paragraph (2), the Secretary of State may delegate to the Director of Public Prosecutions functions in relation to the prosecution of an offence under these Regulations. ”.
