SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Amendment of disqualification provision made by Act of Parliament

Development of Tourism Act 1969 U.K.

4.—(1) Schedule 1 to the Development of Tourism Act 1969(1) (incorporation and status of Tourist Boards) is amended as follows.

(2) After paragraph 5(1)(b) insert —

“(ba) has had a debt relief order made in respect of him (under Part 7A of the Insolvency Act 1986); or”.

(3) After paragraph 5(2) insert —

“(3) In this paragraph, references to a member of the Board do not, in so far as sub-paragraph (1)(ba) applies, include persons who are members of VisitScotland.”
