Section 11981 (ending of liability of Boards to make payments on being relieved of responsibility for bridges carrying trunk or special roads) is amended as follows.

In the heading, omit “of Boards”.

In subsection (1)—
a
for “or the Waterways Board” substitute “, the Waterways Board or Canal & River Trust”;
b
after “the Board”, in each place occurring, insert “or, as the case may be, Canal & River Trust”.

In subsection (2), after “of this section” insert “or Canal & River Trust”.
